On Saturday I lost a friend to Cancer. Her name was Abby Fessler and she was bad ass in every imaginable way. She was a regular at Wilderness concerts, often helping to sign people up for the national bone marrow registry. She had the same type of cancer I had, we were nearly the same age, she was a beautiful spirit with so much to offer the world, and she should still be here with us today. I'd like to Honor Abby's memory as well as the thousands of Adolescents and Young Adults we will lose to cancer this year by making this pledge.
