Day 4 - Broken ribs and all

The dive bar warm ups have come and gone and we arrive at the main event. It wouldn't be the start of something beautiful if there weren't a little cause for concern, and the opening night of the weezer/panic tour was no exception. On the day off in El Paso our drummer, Jay had been complaining of some discomfort in his ribs after receiving an aggressive bear hug from a friend of the band's in Tucson the previous evening. (Yes, you heard that correctly). Though he initially laughed it off, albeit with a little pain, he woke up after our second show in a bad way. A trip to urgent care yesterday revealed he had not one but two fully broken ribs! Have no fear though, Jay is a total bad ass and will be behind the kit despite his injuries.
