6th Annual Dear Jack Benefit Concert
The time has come to announce the 6th annual Dear Jack Benefit concert. Keeping with our theme of bringing Dear Jack to fans all over the U.S., this year's event will be hosted at the Chicago House of Blues. This will be a very special night of music to raise funds for Dear Jack Foundation, an organization that advocates on behalf of Adolescent and Young Adult cancer patients and survivors. I wanted for this show to be unique, and with the excitement over the 10th anniversary of the Jack's Mannequin album, Everything in Transit, I will be doing a solo piano performance of the record from start to finish. As many of you know, Everything in Transit was released the day I received the transplant that put my Leukemia into remission, so it seems fitting to celebrate being 10 years cancer free with a tribute to this album. Of course there will be time to dive into a second set featuring favorites from the "in the Wilderness" album as well as past Jack's and Something Corporate songs. We hope you will join us for this rare performance to raise money for a great cause.
Get your pre-sale tickets tomorrow at 10am CST.
With Gratitude,
Andrew McMahon
p.s. If you can't attend the show, but would still like to contribute to the Dear Jack Foundation, join us in the 72K Challenge. We're aiming to raise $72,000, where each dollar represents one of the 72,000 newly diagnosed Adolescent and Young Adult's this year.
