2018 Dear Jack Foundation 200k Challenge
In the 13 years since my cancer diagnosis, awareness of the difficulties facing the AYA population has grown considerably, but there is still a long way to go. Since our inception in 2006 the Dear Jack Foundation has been the leading voice for adolescents and young adults facing cancer, and it is our mission to expand our reach until no young person feels alone in their cancer journey. Through our quality of life programs, Breathe Now and LifeList we are building community and bringing much needed relief to AYA cancer patients and survivors. It is powerful to witness the progress made through bringing together patients and survivors who are on similar journeys, each helping one another to navigate the unique issues they are facing. At the end of the day, it is the community we are building through our programs and partnerships that has given me the most joy since founding Dear Jack. We are not anywhere near finished, and as we enter the next phase of growth I personally invite you to join me in raising your voice by fundraising or donating to the Dear Jack 200k Challenge this year for your chance to win a private living room performance by yours truly in 2019.
